The Hurricane 60 was originally engineered to remove rubber bead, embedded carbon, and bearing grease from aircraft wheels so that aircraft maintenance personnel could eliminate the secondary brushing process that had to be used with most other parts washers. This aqueous cleaning system is now used extensively in the private and military aircraft maintenance sectors for cleaning everything from aircraft brakesto jet and turboprop engine components.
